Сегодня готовила урок для The Seasonal Residency и сама зависла на прослушивании подкаста про привычки. Вот эта часть особенно откликается: For complex behaviors, for things that have many different parts, it takes longer to form a habit. And the best evidence we have at this point comes from a study where people added a simple health behavior to their day. Adding something like a glass of water took about two months to become automated, so that you don’t have to make decisions about it. Something like going to the gym could take three or four months of going regularly before it becomes truly habitual — in the sense that you don’t have to think, you just do. Как же всегда хочется, чтобы новое поведение сразу стало привычкой. А вот наука говорит: фигушки вам - месяцы, а не дни на формирование нового поведения.
