🤩 Minister of Science and Higher Education Visited UrFU 🇷🇺 Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, paid a visit to Ural Federal University. Key highlights of the visit: ➖Minister introduced Ilya Obabkov, a distinguished university graduate, as the new Rector of UrFU to the Academic Council. ⏺️Falkov stressed that Obabkov would give a new impetus to the development of one of the largest universities in the country. ➖Valery Falkov and Academic Counci discussed UrFU work on a pilot project aimed at improving the higher education system. ⏺️The Ministry proposes consolidating 25 specialty groups from the current 58 to better align with labor market demands and fundamental education principles. ➖Valery Falkov, toured the Novokoltsovsky campus together with Rector Obabkov and Governor Denis Pasler. ⏺️The Minister emphasized the importance of developing UrFU's infrastructure, highlighting the Novokoltsovsky campus as a significant asset.
