Almost 170 years ago women made history by demonstrating for better working conditions. Since then, women around the world have organised protests and strikes for rights ranging from suffrage /ˈsʌfrɪdʒ/ избирательное право to reproductive freedom репродуктивная свобода, from peace to equality in every sphere of life. March 8 became International Women’s Day in 1911, first celebrated in Germany, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland, and was later officially recognised in 1977 to honour women’s struggles and achievements globally. Across the world - in space, economics, politics, manufacturing, education, science AND the field of human communication - women now hold key roles as administrative staff, students, project leaders, researchers, and, of course, mothers, exemplifying leadership, care and dedication. At Plateaunica, we are proud to see the same spirit reflected in our community. Together with Anastasia Polpudenko and our native speakers from foreign countries, with our female and male students, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in the field of Education. We at Plateaunica are proud to contribute to a world where women lead, innovate and inspire.
💐 To our female students, colleagues and mentors - today we celebrate you! Male students, we appreciate you and your effort too! Thank you to all our students, of every gender and role, for being part of Plateaunica!
