Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return). To Allah belongs what He took, and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has an appointed term. My friend's father, Wahid bin Idris, has passed away to the mercy of Allah Almighty. We ask Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) to envelop him in His vast mercy, to admit him into His spacious paradises (Jannah), and to forgive him, have mercy on him, and pardon him. O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, pardon him, and grant him well-being. Honor his arrival, expand his entrance (into Paradise), and cleanse him with water, snow, and hail. Purify him of his sins and transgressions as a white garment is cleansed of filth. O Allah, make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise (Rawdah min Riyad al-Jannah), and do not make it a pit from the pits of the Fire (Hufrah min Hufar an-Nar). We ask you to supplicate (make du'a) for him, asking for mercy, forgiveness, and salvation from the Hellfire. Jazakum Allahu Khairan (May Allah reward you with the best of rewards)
