We wake up in the morning, look out the window, and judge the weather, letting it affect our mood for the rest of the day. We go outside, see other people, and judge their looks and behaviour. We go to work, communicate with colleagues, and judge their words and actions. And in the evening, we scroll through glimpses of other people’s lives, measuring our own worth based on those illusions. Why can’t we just treat things as a neutral reality and keep our minds at peace?
