I haven’t cooked for ages! But then suddenly last Saturday I had a strong desire to spend some time in the kitchen. Soooo…. 🥞The word blinis in English means блины. Yes — the same delicious, round pancakes we love in Russia! In English, "blinis" is plural. One pancake is called a blin. One blin 🥞Two (or more) blinis🥞🥞 🍯 In English-speaking countries, blinis are usually small (like mini pancakes) and served with sour cream, salmon, or even caviar. They are often eaten as an appetizer. Do you ever talk about Russian food in English? We always do with my students! Try using the word blinis next time!
