Distorting a kick drum with white noise - Snowstorm by Caustic FX Here's a little jam with the Dirtywave M8 supplying audio and MIDI to my new white noise drone/distortion pedal, Snowstorm by Caustic FX. The idea was to feed the pedal a looping kick drum pattern from the macro synth engine (Braids) and distort/destroy the signal with Snowstorm, along with modulating many of the pedal's parameters with the M8's MIDI output. CausticFX.com The pedal is built with an Electrosmith Daisyseed, which allows for users to flash firmware writtten and compiled with Max Msp Gen~, C++, Pure Data, Faust or Rust.
