Sometimes it feels like Moscow changes all by itself. But in reality, its cultural scene is shaped by people from different countries too: they bring ideas, new formats, and sometimes simply make the city a little more open. Below are two places dedicated to European culture: 🇮🇹 Italian Institute of Culture Italy’s official cultural institute in Moscow. They host film screening series, talks, and exhibitions, and there’s also a library. Right now they have an online project about Verdi, and they regularly publish videos and interviews on YouTube. 🇪🇸 Instituto Cervantes It’s not just language courses: the Moscow centre has an exhibition space and a library, where cultural events and in-person workshops are held regularly.
