🏫День Арктики и Международный день полярного медведя в институте экологии: ✍️Круглый стол на английском языке. 🎓Участники - студенты 1-го и 2-го курса. 🌐В центре внимания - экологическое значение Арктики и её роль в поддержании глобальной устойчивости. В рамках мероприятия участники: ➖Приняли участие в интерактивном квизе, посвящённом Арктике и полярному медведю ➖Познакомились с возможностями ИИ-инструментов для создания образовательно-развлекательного видеоконтента на английском языке ➖Представили собственные проекты, посвящённые арктическим экосистемам и современным экологическим вызовам ➖Обсудили значение морского льда для поддержания климатической стабильности ➖Подчеркнули важность сохранения не только редких видов животных, но и коренных народов Арктики, чья жизнь и культура неразрывно связаны с природной средой региона. Arctic Day & International Polar Bear Day at the Institute of Environmental Engineering During the event, the students: ➖Took part in an interactive quiz on the Arctic and polar bears; ➖Explored how Al tools can be used to create engaging educational video content in English; ➖Presented their projects on Arctic ecosystems and environmental challenges; ➖Discussed the role of sea ice in maintaining global climate stability; ➖Reflected on the importance of protecting both endangered species and the Indigenous peoples of the Arctic. The discussion emphasized: preserving the Arctic is not only about saving one region - it is about ensuring global environmental sustainability and protecting our shared future.  Danila Marshalov, first-year student. “Attending the Arctic Day event was a reminder of how much this region affects our planet. I learned that this region is an ocean that is covered in ice and is claimed by eight countries. I also discovered that the Arctic is polluted by radiation from nuclear weapons testing. In conclusion, the Arctic is a very important region that impacts both global warming and the level of the world ocean." Diana Chirkova, second-year student. "I really enjoyed the Arctic Day event. The quiz was fun and helped me learn new facts about the Arctic and polar bears. I also found the student presentations interesting because they showed why the Arctic is important for the global climate and why we need to protect it”.
