Where Did Yanik Pryanik Go?! Oh, pryaniki, where should I start... Do you remember I mentioned I was a volunteer at the INSLED cycling event? Since then, my life has turned 180 degrees and has taken me somewhere with incredible speed, carrying a suitcase all the while. In short, I spent a week in Velikiye Luki working at the Russian Hot Air Ballooning Championship, then went to Seliger, from there to Tver, and now I'm home for two days, teaching lessons to my students. On Friday night, I'm off to Priozersk, as we have a water and hiking tour planned around the Ladoga Skerries. I'll share more details in the coming days, but for now, I can say one thing... A lot has changed within me over the past few months. I admitted to myself things I had been afraid to for a very long time. I tried a lifestyle I had only talked about but never had the courage to try. I started to speak and act more according to my heart, rather than what others expect. And honestly, for the first time, I'm not scared. I'm not scared of what people will think. I'm not scared of how they'll perceive the real me. Whether they stay or leave. I'm not scared of what lies ahead. On the contrary, there's a sense of calm and confidence within me that many doors are open now, and I can open and peek into any of them. And it's an exciting yet wonderful feeling. The feeling that I am finally on my path.
