Interesting observation: Some men speak softly—with respect, warmth, even using affectionate diminutives. No falseness, no affectation. Simply human and pleasant. One of my colleagues is exactly like this—polite, attentive, genuinely interested in his work. With him, projects run smoothly, and collaboration feels effortless. Then there are others—efficient, highly motivated, but more reserved in their emotional expression. That works too, just in a different way. Sometimes I notice guys with great potential sabotaging themselves—they don’t regulate their sleep, sound detached, and create an aura of fatigue and cynicism. Small things, but they add up and leave a poor impression. It’s especially noticeable in teams: frontend engineers working on interfaces seem to flourish—more openness, more initiative, better results. Backend guys often withdraw into themselves, and their motivation goes with them. This isn’t criticism, but an invitation to look inward. Sometimes it’s enough to remember who you were at your best moments. And also to seek help: a psychologist, therapy, regular sessions. Not waiting for a breakdown, but getting ahead of it. Sabotage is real. When change is on the horizon, the subconscious often whispers, “Now isn’t the time,” or “There are more important things.” That’s described in hundreds of textbooks. But it can be different—support yourself and move toward something better with confidence. You’re not broken. You’re simply transitioning to the next level.
