How to Discern a Witch in Your Church Not everyone in church is there for Jesus. Some come hungry for God, but some come with hidden spiritual agendas… This is not paranoia. It’s discernment. The Bible forbids witchcraft and shows occult influence trying to infiltrate God’s work. There was Simon the sorcerer, divination in Acts, and Elymas resisting the gospel. But not everyone struggling is a witch. Some are bound or just deceived. So test the spirits and discern. Do not accuse. When occult influence is operating, certain patterns begin to show. Sign 1 They crave power and influence more than God’s presence. Access matters more to them than holiness. Sign 2 They resist repentance but want a platform. Conviction irritates them and correction offends them. They want authority without accountability. Sign 3 They whisper and sow division. They plant suspicion instead of pursuing biblical confrontation. Sign 4 They attach to leaders and intercessors for leverage, not love. Sign 5 There is confusion, heaviness, intimidation, and distraction from Jesus around them. The Holy Spirit exalts Christ, not control.
