jetztzeit by daniel tulchinsky About a year ago, I made an educational calendar inspired by On the Concept of History by Walter Benjamin. What stayed with me from his text is this feeling that time isn't just a straight line we move along, it's something much denser, where every moment has its own weight and meaning, like stars scattered across the sky. Since this work was never fully published, it still feels somewhat distant and unexplored there, which made me want to approach it in my own way. So instead of treating a calendar as something purely practical, I tried to turn it into a space you can experience. Each day becomes less about planning and more about noticing, a small point in a larger constellation of time. Bringing this idea into a digital format felt natural: an interface where light can kindle, where each day becomes a moment you can ignite, watch it glow, feel its weight in the darkness of passing time. You move through it, you reflect on it, and in doing so, you see time itself a little differently.
