InteRussia Opens Its Oriental Studies Fellowship at the Institute of Oriental Studies RAS 📚 On March 24, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) hosted the official opening of the InteRussia fellowship in Oriental Studies. The fellows were welcomed by ✨Dr. Vasily Kuznetsov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, ✨and Lyana Dymova, Academic Programs Coordinator at the Gorchakov Fund. “It is a great honor for us to see growing international interest in Russian expertise in Oriental, historical, and archaeological research. We will do our best to ensure that this experience is both meaningful and valuable for all participants,” — noted Dr. Vasily Kuznetsov. This year, the program brings together young specialists in history and political sciences from Egypt, India, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Pakistan, Syria, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Throughout the fellowship, the participants will engage in conferences and expert discussions, visit museums and historical archives, and develop individual research projects.
