WOMEN IN POLITICS: MARIA CORINA MACHADO She was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for her fight for democratic rights in Venezuela. The Nobel Committee praised her as “one of the most extraordinary examples of civilian courage in Latin America.” We shall, of course, look at how she performs both in Spanish and English.
