Solstice update: reading the data, not forcing news I get it, everyone is waiting for announcements from Solstice. But when there’s no big news, forcing posts doesn’t help. What is interesting today is the Flares emission rate. Based on recent data points, Flares emissions are rising again: 2026-01-07: ~122.6B 2026-01-08: ~125.6B That’s roughly +3.06B in ~37.5 hours, or about ~2B Flares per day on average. It fluctuates daily, but “~2B/day” seems like a fair estimate right now. What makes this more interesting is that on-chain data shows net outflows. Emissions increasing while net flow is negative raises questions. At this point, it still feels like no one has fully cracked how Flares emissions are calculated or tuned. Not hype, just data.
