In winter the temperature is quite comfortable (20-25°) although most of the year it's boiling hot... Well, it's still a desert ☀️ 2️⃣ And I've never planned to move here. Who wants to live in a desert? In fact, I've never planned to move to any country. Yep, I imagined it from time to time but I realised I wouldn't do it (at least, on my own) cause all my family is in Russia 😍 3️⃣ I really miss spending time with them at the countryside - this is the place of peace and quiet where we could have some quality time together and just rest. 4️⃣ And now I have to work a lot to earn a living here. So, I would give anything to come back to Russia to see them now. Last time we met face-to-face on NY holidays. 5️⃣ I also have to learn the local language to blend in faster. At first, it was really hard to reprogramme my brain and read and write from right to left but I got used to it, and now it's not so difficult. The hardest part is to quickly switch between languages. It takes a lot of concentration 🛸 ⭐️So, the fact about learning the language was fake.⭐️ Useful phrases have quality time together - проводить время вместе с пользой / уделять время и внимание друг другу earn a living - зарабатывать на жизнь would give anything to... - отдал(а) бы все на свете, чтобы... meet face-to-face - увидеться вживую blend in... - влиться/вписаться в...
