The Martin Roth Initiative has announced a call for applications for “Temporary Relocation to Germany for Artists and Cultural Actors at Risk 2024.” The initiative allows for artists and cultural actors at risk to temporarily relocate to Germany with the assistance of a host cultural institution. The program provides a scholarship to applicants for up to 15 months. The Martin Roth Initiative also assists with the relocation visa process and provides applicants with psychosocial support, language courses, trainings, and networking activities. Applications for the program must be submitted by host organizations. Host organizations can be cultural institutions or collectives (museums, theaters, festivals, etc.) and other socially relevant organizations that are based in Germany.
