Уважаемые коллеги! Вот нынешний состав Комитета ООН по экономическим, социальным и культурным правам, он состоит из 18 независимых экспертов, избранных на основе принципа справедливого географического представительства. На фотографии также члены Секретариата Управления Верховного комиссара ООН по правам человека, которые оказывали техническую помощь в проведении сессии, которая, в связи с Финансовым кризисом в ООН проходила в сокрашенных 18 днях. В этом году Международному пакту об экономических, социальных и культурных правах, международный контроль за осуществлением которого государствами-участниками (173) осуществляет этот Комитет, и Международному пакту о гражданских и политических правах, исполняются 60 лет! По инициативе МИД России и РУДН имени Патриса Лумумбы 4 декабря 2026 года в актовом зале РУДН будет проведено торжественное собрание, посвященному этой дате, при присутствии послов, аккредитованных в РФ, представителей национальных правозащитных учреждений, государственных органов, гражданского общества, академических кругов и СМИ. Оно будет проходить в гибридном формате с целью широкого освещения. Я к этому моменту собираюсь опубликовать статью, посвященную этим двум Международным пактам и деятельности двух ведущих договорных органов по правам человека - Комитета по экономическим, социальным и культурным правам (членом которого я являюсь с 2010 года) и Комитета по правам человека. Поскольку речь идет о праздновании, я буду обращать внимание на положительные стороны, хотя придется кое-что отметить и негативное в деятельности этих органов. Dear colleagues! The current composition of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights consists of 18 independent experts elected on the basis of the principle of equitable geographical representation. This year, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the international monitoring of the implementation of which by the participating States (173) is being implemented by this Committee, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights is 60 years old! On December 4, 2026, by the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RUDN University named after Patrice Lumumba, a solemn meeting dedicated to this date will be held in the RUDN Assembly Hall in the presence of ambassadors accredited in the Russian Federation, representatives of national human rights institutions, government agencies, civil society, academia and the media. It will be held in a hybrid format for the purpose of wide coverage. By this time, I'm going to publish an article on these two International Covenants and the activities of the two leading human rights treaty bodies, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (of which I have been a member since 2010) and the Human Rights Committee. Since we are talking about a celebration, I will pay attention to the positive aspects, although I will have to mention something negative in the activities of these bodies.
