Fishers live in the forests of North America, mainly in Canada and the northern United States. They prefer dense coniferous and mixed forests. Despite its name, it rarely eats fish. Fishers are omnivores. Their diet includes: small mammals, birds, mushrooms, insects, berries and nuts. Interesting fact: Fishers are one of the few predators capable of successfully hunting porcupines.
