🟠 Who created Bitcoin? A question the crypto community has been trying to answer for years — and still hasn’t. To get closer to the answer, let’s look at how Bitcoin was created. 🗓 On October 31, 2008, a 9-page document titled Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System appeared on a cryptography mailing list under the name Satoshi Nakamoto. At the time, most people ignored it. But on January 3, 2009, the first Bitcoin block — the genesis block — was mined. Inside its code, Satoshi embedded a message: a headline from The Times about the UK government preparing another bank bailout. This wasn’t just a timestamp — it was a statement. Bitcoin was designed as an alternative to the traditional financial system. 👾 Satoshi remained actively involved in the project for about two years — communicating with developers, answering questions, improving the code, and helping launch the network.
